Reverse Alert is the ultimate is the ultimate WHS collision avoidance system - reversing camera, sensors and automatic braking technology.

The technology has been successfully trialled in the civil construction industry on light commercial vehicles and Hino trucks.

As a result of these trials the Reverse Alert approach to automatically applying the brake will become a standard feature on construction sites.

The Reverse Alert technology has many applications and is not just limited to light commercial vehicles and trucks. As such, work is currently underway to design a system for forklifts and plant that utilise hydrostatic braking. Overall, the design will still incorporate features such as park mode and override, but the design and application will be slightly different to the vehicle version, taking into consideration the unique movements of the item of plant.
